maine monday

Remember that one time my family went to Glacier National Park and I posted photos from it for the next year? No? Ok, well here's one to remind you of that phase of my life. you're welcome.

Oh Glacier, your hold is still so strong.
Also, bangs. sheesh.

Anyway, I give the example of Glacier because I feel like a similar occurrence is about to...occur. I went on vacation and, true to character, took more photos than I know what to do with. But because I'm also a crazy I've formed an emotional attachment to each one of them and can't imagine not posting them all. don't worry. i won't post them all. probably. I think I have a problem with believing that inanimate objects have personalities and feelings and brains. This tendency is usually only present in young children, but here I am, at 22 years, almost crying at the thought of parting with the vehicle known as Sneaky Jason Bourne. ok. he does have a personality and is my best friend and oh my gosh i need help because my best friend has tires instead of legs.

Each day in Maine was full of beautiful things i mean, we were there so....hehheh. meh.  Here's our Monday in Portland and Acadia National Park.

Portland Head Light
Cape Elizabeth

Portland's Downtown District

 Sand Beach
Acadia National Park

 Jordan's Pond
Acadia National Park

Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park

More to come because biking, selfies, pop overs, hiking, and sea kayaking. But for now there's a basket full of laundry that feels bad because I haven't given it any attention in days.

excessive never looked so good

You know what I haven't posted about in awhile?

Glacier. And it's about time I do. Because I still have about 300 photos from that trip. Plus I still have Colorado pictures. Man...am I little excessive? My family would answer "Yes." I would answer "Stop talking and say cheese. Right now. The lighting is perfect." except for i don't really say that nonsense about lighting because i'm not official enough to.

Anyway, take a look at Two Medicine area. Because, like, dang. The lighting was perfect there. jklolhags

Aster Falls
2.8 miles roundtrip
-bunny sightings a likely occurrence
-attempting to catch said bunny will result in only good things and won't be humiliating at all. give it a shot.

what's up Captain Kirk?
looking a little angelic.
#appropriate

#beibershortsforever
#andohwowrememberwhenihadbangs?

i spy with my little eye....Caroline.
yeah. couldn't think of something clever to put there.
any suggestions?

coolest cairn i've ever seen.
and i've seen my fair share of cairns.
nbd.

Running Eagle Falls
wheelchair accessible.
which i think is about the coolest thing. because even though people might not be able to hike all over montana, they can still see such pretty things!
yeah! life's cool!

While I won't be in this ^^^ part of Montana next week, I'm still really looking forward to being in Big Sky Country. I mean...LOOK.

ok ok. i show this one all the time. but it's probably my favorite picture i've ever taken.

4 Pics 1 Week

-Mountains, trees, hiking...I mean come on! Summer is here. Get out there and take in the vistas. I suggest Glacier National Park surprise surprise but Logan Canyon, Millcreek Canyon, and even Provo Canyon have some pretty fantastic areas if driving 14+ hours isn't in your weekend plans. My goal is to find some new trails this summer because this whole sitting-in-a-chair-all-day thing is killing me. Kind of.

-Sorry for all those who are grossed out by feet holla atcha jr high friends and those who are just grossed out by MY feet ....sisters.... but I have had some pretty successful dirt/tan lines going on this week. This is nothing compared to my sister-in-law's Chaco lines though. She's so cool.

-Batman was spotted at the nearby Macey's on Tuesday.

-Met up with these lovelies for some frozen yogurt and to catch up on their lives. sorry boys, both are taken.  I was extremely please with my cold concoction of Cookies...you know what, never mind. I can think of nothing more boring than reading about what someone else decided to put in their dairy product. So just enjoy the picture, which shows that my #nomakeupmonday became #nomakeupanyday this week. It happens.

peace

a few things i will never understand

-Why professors feel the need to hoard office supplies. "Has anyone seen the tape? Where are my scissors? EVERY STICKY NOTE IS MISSING!"

-Why my arm hairs suddenly decided to grow the opposite direction.

-Same with that one eyelash on my left eyelid. (Seriously. Just, calm down buddy.)

-Gotye.

-Super long fingernails that are in style now. they look like aye-aye fingers. and girl, how do you even eat with those things?

-Drawn on eyebrows.

-Garden gnomes.

-Why I'm the only one who calls to fix things in my apartment. And why no one ever says thank you? (You're welcome roommies)

-People who don't like dairy.

-Back rubs in class. DON'T DO IT PEOPLE. JUST DON'T.

-Silent treatments.

-The Marriott School of Business.

-And the nursing program.

-Why people still refuse to use Spotify.

-The difference between "effect" and "affect." yeah, i admit that i have to look it up every time. and usually i just use the word "influence" instead.

-How I'm supposed to resist chocolate bars, chocolate milk, and chocolate doughnuts when they're sitting right there on my desk.

-High heels and jeans. seems like an oxymoron to me.

One thing that I do understand?

Glacier National Park.
yep, it's that time again folks.

Avalanche Lake via The Trail of the Cedars
4.5 miles roundtrip
Trees upwards of 700 years old
with diameters of 4 to 7 feet
Follows Avalanche Creek

These colors are for reals.

Little buddy practically climbed on my lap to eat that Cheeto.
he obviously knows how good cheetos are.

Have I talked about the Weiler hips yet?
Oh yeah. I have.

peace and air freshener.
did you hear? the teacher education department had a fire incident. so know the office smells like burnt flax, melted metal, crystal gel, and recently, paint fumes. i wouldn't be good at drugs because this is killing me.
